When will I need to prove I have (pre-)settled status?

To access a range of rights and services, EU citizens will need to prove they are lawfully resident in the UK following the EU Settlement Scheme deadline of 30 June 2021. This includes but is not limited to the following everyday life situations: opening bank accounts, accessing medical treatment, accessing welfare, accessing education, travelling in and out of the UK, renting a property or starting a new job.
