EU citizens are feeling the pressure… Release the pressure now!

Join your voice to the raising number of MPs and MEPs who are doing the right thing and pledging their support to the 3 million EU citizens living in the UK.

In November 2016, the3million and New Europeans launched a pledge to enable MPs across parties to show their support to the 3 million EU citizens who are living in the UK with a level of anxiety rarely seen in peace time.

Although the pledge received limited media coverage, most MPs were made aware of the plight of EU citizens as a result and we're proud to have staged this campaign as the first step towards the recognition of our cause as a priority ahead of the Brexit negotiations. A massive thank you to everyone who contacted their MPs, MEPs and local politicians and to those courageous public figures who were not afraid to pledge their support when EU citizens were not so popular.

"I pledge to support

the right of EU citizens living in the UK

to remain in the UK post Brexit."

It has been a very difficult few months for all 3 million EU citizens living in the UK since the Brexit referendum. The feelings of anxiety, loss, rejection and not feeling welcome anymore are widespread in the EU communities.

This is why on 18 October in Westminster the3million launched, together with New Europeans, a pledge asking MPs and MEPs across all parties to show their moral support. Our rights to remain were guaranteed by all sides during the referendum campaign, so there is absolutely no reason why we should be put in this precarious position.

On 12 December, we hand delivered a letter to Theresa May asking the Prime Minister to unilaterally grant our right. The letter was also signed by the leading organisations of British citizens living in Europe. Since then, the Parliament's Joint Committee on Human Rights, the British Chamber of Commerce and the TUC have called the Government to guarantee our rights before article 50 is triggered.

Join the movement and do the right thing by pledging your support today.

It means the Earth to us.

Please note that the3million is an apolitical organisation which aims to secure the rights of EU citizens in the UK. We also support the campaign 'Fair Deal for Expats' which aims to secure the rights of UK citizens in the rest of the EU.
