Miriam Hourch

Miriam is German-Moroccan and has lived in Scotland for the past five years. She completed her undergraduate degree in International Politics in 2022 and subsequently worked for a charity assisting people who had become destitute as a result of the UK’s asylum system for a year before starting with the3million. She is passionate about campaigning against the UK government’s ‘hostile environment’ and the resulting discrimination, barriers and infringements of human rights migrants face in all aspects of life.
