The effects of COVID-19 on migrant frontline workers and people of colour

COVID-19 disproportionately impacted migrants and people of colour working in the UK, especially on the frontline.

This research, based on a survey with 170 migrant workers and people of colour, highlights how the respondents felt they were putting their health at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic and feared job losses. A substantial minority experienced racist abuse at work.

This research has been conducted by Migrants' Rights Network (MRN), in collaboration with Kanlungan Filipino Consortium, the3million and Migrants at Work and was published in December 2020.
